What We Are Building
Donahoo Story Co. is stewarding a historically significant drama project through a careful
development process. We believe great drama lives in the space between respect and tension… where honouring the history doesn't diminish the stakes, but deepens them.
Our methodology works in partnership with local heritage stakeholders to ensure cultural integrity. Through rigorous research and descendant consultation, we aim to honour the truth of the history while building a responsible foundation for future production.
Flagship Project
A premium historical drama project in structured pre-development.
Inspired by a rarely dramatized chapter of Canadian history, the project explores land, faith, race, inheritance, belonging, and the pressures placed on a community attempting to build a shared future.
The project is being developed with community-informed historical guidance and local heritage support. It is currently undergoing story, source-material, rights, and development review before broader partner-facing presentation.
